STORY

Inspired by the Productivity Planner
image

It all started from a desire to work with the Intelligent Change team and help them digitize their products. I was highly motivated by Alex and Mimi Ikonn story, how a couple could build a business and earn their way to financial freedom.

Back in 2015 when the Productivity Planner was announced I knew it was my chance to get noticed. So I started working on this app and a few months later I had a working prototype for iOS, Android and Web Browsers. Also, I finally decided to approach the people at Intelligent Change.

I was lucky enough to get on an email chain with Alex and even had a 1 on 1 skype call with UJ! Sadly, they didn't want to work with me. This is very understandable, as they are a big company that is looking for a team (developers, designers, manager). A single person is not enough to deliver a complex application in a short time span.

I've never let go of the idea of digitizing the Productivity Planner and in my spare time (while working full time) I've been slowly building this app. And I would be very grateful if you could try it out. And If you have any suggestions on how I could improve it and make it useful to you, please send me a message.

Preparation

In your quest for free productive time, preparation is your secret weapon. Relax. Take a deep breath. Assess the situation. Understand that in current times, uninterrupted work requires us to take early measures against distraction.

Plan your Week

The purpose of Weekly Planning is to plan for success by determining, before the week begins, your highest priorities.

Plan your Day

Write down 3-5 things you plan to get done the next day. In the morning, start working on the task of highest priority. Only move on to task #2 when you’ve completed #1. Repeat

Review your Week

The weekly review involves you quickly glancing back at the week that was so you can get a sense of how much you have accomplished
